Bridge to Restoration is a program offered by Restoring Lives Today, dedicated to providing trauma-informed support for young hearts. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children and young adults can find healing and restoration after experiencing trauma. Through our support group sessions, we offer a compassionate and understanding space for individuals to share their experiences, connect with others who have faced similar challenges, and receive guidance on coping strategies and self-care practices. We firmly believe in the resilience and strength of young hearts, and we are committed to empowering them on their journey towards healing and growth.

The Mother-to-Mother Support Network at Restoring Lives Today provides a supportive community for pregnant women, mothers with young children, and individuals seeking connection and guidance. Our network offers a platform for sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and receiving mutual support in a non-judgmental and empathetic environment. We understand the challenges and joys of motherhood and pregnancy and want you to know that you are not alone. Our support group meetings aim to foster community, solidarity, and empowerment among mothers, creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate motherhood.

Our Crisis Counselor/Counseling Programs at Restoring Lives Today 501c3 are dedicated to helping children and troubled youth navigate their complex emotions in a healthy manner. Whether they are facing major life-changing events such as divorce, homelessness, incarceration, death, or abuse, our compassionate team provides support and guidance. We understand the wide range of emotions young hearts may experience and offer trauma-informed counseling and therapeutic techniques to empower them to express and process their feelings safely. In a secure environment, young individuals can explore their emotions, find healing, and develop resilience. 

At Restoring Lives Today, we recognize that children may struggle to express their emotions, especially during times of grief and trauma. In many cases, parents may also be grappling with their own challenges and may not be able to provide the necessary support to their children. This is where our advocacy services come in. Our experienced advocates provide a compassionate and trustworthy presence for grieving youth, guiding them through their emotional journey with care and understanding. We believe that every child deserves the security of a confidential and safe setting in which to express themselves and receive the support they need. Restoring Lives Today is committed to advocating for the emotional well-being of children and youth, ensuring that they feel heard, valued, and supported.

Recreational therapy, also known as therapeutic recreation, is a holistic approach that utilizes activities and leisure pursuits to promote healing and well-being for individuals, children, youth, and families. At Restoring Lives Today, we offer a variety of recreational therapy programs designed to engage participants in meaningful and enjoyable activities that foster emotional growth and resilience. From arts and crafts projects to sports and games, family picnics, and community outings, our recreation therapy initiatives aim to create a sense of joy, connection, and empowerment. Through these activities, individuals can express themselves creatively, build social skills, and enhance their overall well-being. Restoring Lives Today values the therapeutic benefits of recreation and provides opportunities for individuals to engage in enjoyable and meaningful experiences that promote healing and restoration.

Restoring lives today provide intensive and personalized case management by connecting individuals and families with community services and resources while building on their resilience to help them thrive.. Navigators specialize in connecting individuals and families to diverse services and resources like basic needs food, clothes, baby supplies, furniture ect, housing, counseling, coaching, employment , education support, and more.

Offers comprehensive case management and counseling services to pregnant teens through home and school visitation services to pregnant teens through home and school visitation, service coordination, and parenting education until the first year of the babies birth. Restoring lives offers several events, workshops and outings throughout the year for young mothers and their children. 

Addressing Peer Pressure and Behavioral Challenges Among Children and Teenagers" Peer pressure remains a significant influencer of behavioral problems among children and youth, often driving individuals to seek acceptance and validation within their social circles. The desire to fit in and maintain social status can lead young people to engage in risky behaviors, including criminal activities, even when facing financial constraints. Additionally, many instances of criminal behavior stem from factors unrelated to monetary limitations. The home environment also plays a crucial role in shaping behaviors, often reflecting issues such as instability and limited resources.

 Recognizing the multifaceted nature of these challenges, Restoring Lives Today has developed a tailored youth program in collaboration with community partners. This program aims to provide support and resources to families grappling with life challenges, particularly those related to peer pressure and behavioral issues among children and teenagers.

Addressing the Interconnected Challenges Faced by Families During Times of Crisis" When a parent faces a job loss or other significant setback, it can trigger a series of challenges for the entire family. These difficulties extend beyond the immediate financial strain of meeting rent or mortgage obligations. Children may struggle academically due to the anxiety stemming from their unstable living conditions, while mental health issues like untreated depression can hinder the parent's ability to secure new employment. It is in such critical moments that Restoring Lives Today steps in to offer support. Recognizing that every individual and family is unique, we understand that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to these complex challenges. Our program assists families in envisioning a clear path towards self-sufficiency and provides ongoing guidance and support throughout their journey. We engage with unsheltered families at their point of need, working in collaboration with community partners to secure stable and secure housing for those in crisis.
